Project Superintendent

The on-site leader for a construction project.

Responsible for

  • Managing daily operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors and workers
  • Enforcing safety protocols
  • Ensuring the work progresses according to plans, schedules, and quality standards
  • Acting as the crucial link between high-level planning and field execution

Employees Must Have The Following

  • Five (5) Or More Years Managing Crews In Either Utility Or Grading Work

Operator

Responsible for operating heavy equipment.

Responsible for

  • Strictly adhere to all safety codes, company policies, and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-operation inspections, perform routine maintenance (checking fluids, greasing joints), and make minor repairs.
  • Excavate, grade, and level earth for construction projects; load/unload materials, debris, or equipment.
  • Use hand signals or radio to coordinate with team members; report malfunctions or repairs needed to supervisors.
  • Maintain logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and project progress.

Employees Must Have The Following

  • 18+ Years Of Age with Valid Drivers License

  • Proven field experience operating specific heavy equipment in construction, mining, or utility environments.
  • Ability to operate, maneuver, and maintain heavy equipment (e.g., bulldozers, excavators, track loaders, etc) safely.
  • Strict compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, work outdoors in varying weather, and operate machinery for long hours.
  • Understanding of site plans, blue prints, and safe digging procedures.

Part Time Heavy Equipment Hauler

Responsible for hauling heavy equipment from site to site.

Requirements

CDL License, at least 2 years experience hauling heavy equipment.

Pipe Layer

Responsible for manual labor such as digging, laying pipe, etc.

Responsible for

  • Digging trenches by hand or using machinery to specific depths and grades, including ensuring proper, secure base bedding.
  • Laying and connecting various pipe types (PVC, concrete, steel, cast iron) and installing auxiliary lines.
  • Using lasers, transit levels, and grade rods to ensure accurate positioning; sealing joints with cement, glue, or welding techniques.
  • Locating, removing, and replacing broken pipes.
  • Following strict OSHA regulations, including trench shoring, and conducting safe work practices.

Employees Must Have The Following

  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, and technical specifications. Proficiency with pipe-cutting tools, lasers, and grade rods.
  • Ability to lift 50–90 lbs frequently and work in strenuous, outdoor conditions (mud, dust, heat).
  • Experience with, or ability to learn, hand tools, small power tools, and heavy machinery (e.g., tampers).
  • Ability to work closely with pipe technicians and heavy equipment operators to coordinate pipe placement.
  • Typically requires at least 1–2 years of experience in underground utility construction.
